Delo® Tractor Restoration Competition
The Delo Tractor Restoration Competition was established in 1995 to recognize and reward the creativity, technical aptitude and business knowledge of high school-aged FFA members from around the country. During this restoration process, participants develop teamwork, project management, budgeting, planning and marketing skills. All of these new skills will enable them to become future leaders in the agriculture community.
The 2009 submission deadline is September 4, 2009 and competition finalists will be invited to attend the annual FFA convention. This website contains all the information and forms required to compete in the program. The winners of the 2009 Delo Tractor Restoration Competition will be recognized and awarded at the annual FFA awards ceremony, which will be held on the last day of the convention.
DELO (Diesel Engine Lubricating Oil) was developed in 1935 to meet the needs of Caterpillar Tractor's new high-speed diesel engines.
